Since its inception, the Miles of Miles event has been dedicated to encouraging athletes of all abilities to take part and “have a go”. It doesn’t matter whether you’re a seasoned runner or have never set foot on a track before, this event is the perfect opportunity to start or rekindle your passion for athletics.

Medals & Prizes

1st, 2nd & 3rd place medals will be awarded for every Mile race, there will be separate ceremonies for those coming 1st, 2nd or 3rd in the county championships.

£50 Amazon vouchers will be given to the fastest athlete in each age/gender group inc.U11’s.

Ceremonies will take place as soon as the results have been worked out and will be in between races where time permits.

Parking

There is Free parking at Melbourne Athletics Stadium for approximately 200 vehicles including accessible spaces. Unless otherwise stated there are no parking restrictions in the area but we would urge everyone to be considerate to the local residents.

Please follow the instructions of the car park marshals at all times.

Please car share or use public transport, where possible.  The nearest train station is Chelmsford, which is about two miles from the stadium.
