This file system can be sorted by date or alphabetically, and enables a hierarchy of subfolders to be built out for better organisation. This method of filing makes it easy to find specific jobs, even with hundreds of options to choose from.

Once the tests have been completed and logged by the technicians, project managers can easily take the tests and organise them into suitable folders.
With a ‘drag and drop’ method to move the folders, project managers can quickly and easily file the test in the appropriate folder.
With an adaptable folder structure, project managers can structure their file tree in whichever way works best for them.
Help eliminate errors
Whilst project managers can work retrospectively, folders can be done before any tests have been done to help organise the job.
Preparing these folders in advance can help save the project manager significant time as they won’t need to waste time sorting through data, especially when tests are misidentified or need to be relabelled.
For example, if an installer was using a LanTEK IV-S cable certifier, the blank tests and hierarchy are created in advance. This allows the installer to choose the blank test ID and do the corresponding tests, ensuring the results are applied to the correct test and job.
This allows technicians to work more accurately and project managers to create reports easily and with fewer errors.
