From pink ribbons adorning lapels to illuminated buildings bathed in pink light, Breast Cancer Awareness Month is a global movement to raise awareness about one of the most common and, unfortunately, deadly cancers affecting women today. Breast Cancer Awareness Month, often simply referred to as “Pinktober,” serves as a critical reminder of the impact breast cancer has on individuals, families, and communities worldwide. The main objectives are:

One of our amazing staff members Katie has raised around £450 for breast cancer by running in the Newcastle half marathon with 5 members of her family. She did it in an amazing 2 hours 50 mins despite terrific heat and thunderstorms😊 We are all proud of you Katie.
What we’re doing this year:
We are also holding a fundraising day on October 18th, where all staff members are encouraged to wear pink, and get involved in a bake sale to donate to our chosen charity ‘breast cancer now’. If you would like to donate to this charity click here
