At Comms Express we want to keep our delivery charges as simple as possible. The table below shows our charges to UK mainland destinations. For deliveries to non UK mainland click here.

Please note – All couriers are experiencing extremely high volumes of traffic and whilst the majority of deliveries arrive on time without any issues, all delivery services are subject to possible delays. Due to this, next working day and all timed services are NOT GUARANTEED and are NON REFUNDABLE if timings are not met. ** ** Next working day deliveries are carried out Monday – Friday. Orders sent with next working day delivery on a Friday will be delivered the following Monday. Next working day deliveries are not guaranteed, at present they can take 1-3 days.

+ The Comms Super Value delivery service is only available on orders under £95.00 ex VAT which meet the following criteria

• Maximum Size: A3 Jiffy bag or package 45cm x 35cm x 16cm.
• Maximum Weight: 1 Kg

If your Comms Super Value order is over size or weight it will need to be upgraded to another delivery service which may carry a surcharge. This could be flagged by the website but if not, our sales team will contact you if necessary.

Please note tracking may not be available for the Comms Super Value delivery service.

~ Timed Services are not available for most Wall Cabinets & all Floor Standing Cabinets. Timed services may be dependent on stock available, stock location and maximum 30kg weight limit. We use FedEx and DHL for the majority of our deliveries. If you have a preferred courier, please let us know when ordering and we will endeavour to use your preferred choice when possible.

Please Note If your order is heavy/bulky/multiple items or needs to be delivered on a pallet due to weight or size a surcharge may apply.

Please Note Orders received after 5:00pm will be processed the next working day.

Important Notice regarding International Shipping

Comms Express are currently not shipping internationally, we can ship to your UK mainland-based courier or freight forwarder and can provide the correct information required to assist with onward shipping. This policy is liable to change next year dependent on the circumstances at the time.

The prices shown are for most products but exclude Uninterruptible Power Supplies, Bulk Cables, Wall Cabinets, Trunking, Basket Tray, PDU’s (Power Distribution Units), Floor Standing Cabinets & some other heavy / bulky items. A small order carriage charge of £6.00 + VAT for the Scottish Highlands is available upon request. The order value must be under £50 and the maximum weight is 1kg. Although every effort will be made, we cannot guarantee that floor standing cabinets will be delivered next day. If you require next day delivery, please call our sales team for free on 0800 488 0000 or email [email protected].

We use specialist couriers to deliver our floor standing cabinets; to help protect our cabinets as far as is possible during transit. Deliveries can take 1 - 3 working days' dependant on the cabinet specification and location. Cabinet deliveries are only made to ground floor or loading bays only on normal deliveries (due to insurance reasons). Please note that we cannot guarantee timed deliveries due to the nature of the product and courier service offered.

A sited/two-man delivery can be arranged beforehand at an extra cost. Please contact us on 0800 488 0000 for more details or to arrange this.

Please also take into account the following when ordered cabinets as these are the key areas that should be checked before delivery to avoid disappointment. Alternatively, please call our Sales Team on 0800 488 0000 or email [email protected] for further assistance with your order.

All floor standing cabinets are delivered via a pallet courier and are delivered kerbside only.

• Delivery Site Door Sizes more than 800mm to allow large cabinet access (800mm x 800/1000mm Cabinets).
• Cabinet Site location large enough for the Data/Server Cabinet ordered (allow extra 100mm in height for Heavy Duty Castors).
• Cabinets are provided with Transit Castors for siting the cabinet ONLY and are not suitable for use with the cabinet under load.

Restocking and Re-Delivery charges are high for these items due to the nature of the product and transit costs, so please check your order details carefully. To help avoid a Re-Delivery Charge an onsite contact must be provided for deliveries.

• Silver APC

This service is a kerbside pallet delivery within 7-10 working days of order. A courtesy call will be made in advance of the delivery by APC's courier. This service is available for deliveries anywhere in Europe although extra charges will apply dependent on delivery address or country.

• Gold APC

This is a full sited delivery service. A site survey will be carried out in advance with a quotation to follow. The delivery includes sitting the rack in its final position and removing all packaging. This service can take 2-3 weeks and pricing can only be quoted after site survey has been completed.

The costs for these services will be advised when you have completed the requisite form (in the case of the Silver service) or a survey has been carried out (in the case of the Gold service).

As part of our service we ensure that all products are packaged and delivered to the highest standards to minimise any damage being sustained during transit. However, damage can still occur and items can be missed or lost so we ask that you check the following on our deliveries:

• Check for external box damage.
• Check the number of boxed items received matches the delivery info.
• Any goods not inspected should be signed as UNCHECKED where applicable.

All deliveries should be checked within 24 hours and any damage or shortages reported within this time for Comms Express to resolve the issue satisfactorily. Items such as Wall Cabinets should be checked more closely due to the size and weight of the unit.

Any issues should be raised to us immediately (or in an event, within 24 hours of delivery) by contacting the Customer Services Team on 0800 488 0000 or through Email Support. [email protected].

Excluding where cabinets are signed for as 'Unchecked', by signing for any cabinets, you are accepting the goods are in perfect condition.

Business customers should notify us as soon as possible if you have refused the delivery.
